running with brotlic makes error error: linking with cc failed: exit status: 1 when I run it.

Thanks for reaching out, do you think you could enable the DEBUG environment variable to see the compiler output? I've just learned about it here: https://docs.rs/cc/latest/cc/struct.Build.html#method.debug and seeing more information about it would be quite helpful.
