Create Primary IP entries only #5
Description
Currently I am trying to make the hostnames of all my VMs resolvable via pdns. But it seems not possible to set only the entry for the primary IP.
For example, some systems have multiple interfaces, here the records are overwritten by the other IPs. My firewall, for example, has an internal IP in the DNS and not the public IP, which I need for VPN connections.
A new device name scheme "Use device name only for primary IP" to set only the primary IP in the DNS should solve this problem.
With "Match management interfaces only" no entries are created at all.
Or is this already possible and I just haven't found the right settings?
