Support for u-Blox PointPerfect Flex NTRIP GNSS Correction Service

When testing with u-Blox PointPerfect Flex NTRIP GNSS Correction Service, mission planner v1.3.83 was not able to successfully establish a connection to the NTRIP service. I was able to see that mission planner successfully authenticated to the NTRIP service, but it did not send its position. I confirmed this using wireshark and by reviewing the logs on the PointPerfect website. This is a paid service but you can get a free limited time developer account to test. I was able to test with the ntrip module of mavproxy and that worked successfully.

Did you have a valid home location set?

im not sure if i know what you mean by that. my understanding of arducopter firmware is that it sets the EKF origin once the GPS begins sending data. this certainly would have happened as mission planner GUI was getting GPS locations from the copter. I know also that the firmware will set the home position on quad when it is armed before takeoff. this likely had not occurred during my testing, and i did not set the home position manually in the GUI.

are you suggesting that this may be / is a requirement for the NTRIP page to send a position to a ntrip server?

i should add that the documentation here does not appear to require a home position be set, just that the GPS has a 3D lock https://ardupilot.org/copter/docs/common-rtk-correction.html#method-2
