MissionPlanner on Linux crashes on startup due to issue with libSkiaSharp #3647

@R-247-dev

Description

@R-247-dev

I have been using MissionPlanner for a while, but a few months ago, it suddenly stopped running as usual. Notably, this issue started appearing after upgrading from Ubuntu 22.04 to 24.04, however, even in new virtual machines with each of these versions, the same issue persisted.

I run Ubuntu using VMware Fusion on a MacBook Air M1 (so it uses ARM CPU architecture).

The image below shows the error I get. I tried updating libSkiaSharp as is suggested here but to no avail.
Systemn.TypelnitializationException: The type initializer for 'SkiaSharp.SKObject' threw an exception. ...> System.InvalidOperationException: The version of the native libSkiaSharp library (80.2) is incompatible with this version of SkiaSharp. Supported versions of the native libskiaSharp library are in the range (88.1, 89.0)
