APN settings, How can I edit or make new ones? #241

I realize this is an old issue, but I was struggling with this the past few days and figured it out. I'm on a duo2, Android 15. Settings > Network & Internet > SIMs > clicking on my SIM card > Access Point Names (bottom of the menu) This brings up all the APN's, which were pre-loaded in there I think with my SIM? Anyway, there's a "+" button in the top right. I needed to create a new one as the existing ones didn't quite work right for me. The default seemed to work with texting, but not RCS chats an wouldn't let me place calls. Another would fix that, but couldn't connect to RCS. Eventually made a new one for my carrier (AT&T) following suggested settings online. Works great now. You can also click on the name of existing APN's to adjust them. Alternatively, if your SIM is greyed out so you can't click it - that's a different issue. I know the Android 16 experimental release right now has that issue, it did for me as well. I reverted to 15. |

I cannot save APN settings that I need to be able to use this as a phone. Has anyone ran into this issue? I thought it was a way for me to change these settings but I only have the option to "Reset to default"
