System Info Widget

Great application - I love the simplicity of the setup, and it is really easy to get it working, even on unraid (which is what I happen to be using). I have a question, though. How is the widget for system information getting its information? The Temperature isn't pulling in from wherever its getting the data from - and I'd also like to display the temperature in Fahrenheit - is this possible?

The temperature and system info is pulled from the host using Linux commands via node. This is a known issue with some synology systems since it doesn't respond to some normal Linux commands. I have also seen the temperature issue inside of Proxmox which may require lm-sensors to be installed via proxmox shell.

Can you tell me more about your system?

I run my docker containers on an UNRAID system. It is a specialized NAS distribution based on Slackware. Which 'nix commands are being used to pull the info?

I am using a library that has many operations, one of them being CPU temp systeminformation.

If you have -- or can find -- a command that works on your system, I can try to have it use the output of another command if this method fails to correctly get the CPU temp

That may be a little bit over my head, but if it helps - the CPU and RAM usage populate just fine in the dashboard. The output of sensors on my bash shell is:

@joshmans When v 1.1.5 is released, let me know if that does anything for the temperature on your system. I am adding a network monitor gauge which you can use instead of the temperature one but I want to know if the changes did anything for temperatures on your system.

@AnthonyGress I updated to 1.1.5 a few minutes ago and nothing has changed for system temp. Network is also not showing me any interfaces to choose from - but I saw a compose change is needed and I didn't do any changes relating to that (yet). I will see about doing that and test.

Ok thanks. Yes for network you just need to add the one line for network-mode: host.
