External Integrations & Third-Party Services Architecture

Version: 1.0

Status: Master Integration Specification


Purpose

The platform is an AI-powered ecosystem that relies on multiple external systems to function.

This document defines every third-party integration, API communication, synchronization strategy, retry mechanism, caching policy, security model, fallback architecture, and future integration roadmap.

The goal is to ensure the platform remains resilient even if one or more external providers fail.

The platform should never depend on a single provider.

29. Design Principles

No provider should be directly coupled with business logic.

Every integration must be replaceable.

Every provider must support monitoring.

Every request must be auditable.

Every failure must be recoverable.

Every API response must be validated before use.

The Integration Layer acts as a protective boundary between external systems and the core platform.

Business services should never know which external provider supplied the data.
