@jhackney-spec you need to go to macos settings then privacy/security and allow sdr++ after you get the 'apple could not verify' message as the .app is not notarised. |

You followed the correct process otherwise (grab the daily release and extract it)

I need help in downloading SDR for a MacBook Pro. I am totally befuddled. I purchased an RTL SDR V4 a few years back, to use on a MacBook Pro that is currently running a Sequoia 15.7.3 OS. At the time of this purchase, I had no problems downloading a functioning SDR++ program for my MacBook. I used my RTL SDR unit successfully for several months, but then did not have the chance to use it for the past couple of years becaus of work/health issues.d. I've just recently tried to download a current/updated zip file through GitHub (as frequently advised/directed), but can not open the downloaded zip file ((SDR++ Nightly Build (Currently 1.2.1)) because I get error messages proclaiming that "Apple could not verify “SDR++” is free of malware that may harm your Mac or compromise your privacy". I think that in the interim, the newest version involves changes to the programming that are no longer considered "safe". Can I drop back to an earlier version of the software, or is that even possible at present? I really am a rookie on this entire issue, and unfortunately get very frustrated. Is going through the GitHub process a problem? I may not even be executing the software, because I don't see an ".exe file" in the downloaded software folder. I wonder if anyone has advice on this issue? Thanks-----
