NetworkError when attempting to fetch resource.

Cannot save a link - if application behind that link is inaccessible.
There is some sort of a url validation that doesn't allow me to add a link if linked site is down.

Not sure if this is a feature request or a bug.

but there are many usecases I can think of where this is likely not ideal, some examples:

a. I work for multiple companies, each have a vpn. I want to bookmark internal tooling for each company but I dont want to jump on the vpn to do so.
b. one of my internal applications i work on is temporarily down - I still would like to bookmark it but I dont have time to make sure it returns 200 for example.
