I've seen a discussion in this issue and I agree that passwords should be temporary. I'd even generate temporary usernames too.
But is it a security breach to have a permanent URL? I'd like to use some \\URL\path\to\something links in different software or even create symlinks to something. It would be very convenient to have permanent links.
UPDATE:
Or maybe let URLs be random, but add an option to create a symlink to this path somewhere, like --link C:\Users\User\Desktop\SomeDrive.
