PET image pre-processing

Before conducting traditional radiomics analysis on PET images, what preprocessing should be performed on the images? How are the parameters set?

PyRadiomics does not deal with this kind of preprocessing, it should be handled prior to putting the image into PyRadiomics. Usually PET images with counts are converted to SUV-values, which can then be used for radiomic feature extraction.

This can be done using nrrdify_suv, and extension to nrrdify (converts DICOM to nrrd or niftii files). See JoostJM/nrrdify_suv
