Describe the bug
When matterbridge is starting, I get the following error: msg=Failed to POST JSON to /_matrix/client/r0/join/#room:matrix.org code=400 wrapped=M_BAD_JSON: M_BAD_JSON: Failed to deserialize request.

To Reproduce
Apparently it has to do with Conduit > 0.9.0

Expected behavior
It should connect.
