[BUG] YouTube shows Ads when clicking on a video

Describe the bug
When I click on a video, it shows Ads on every video. But the only ad i can see is the first ad of the video. The ads later in the video dont appear

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to YouTube
2. Search up any video
3. Click on it
4. Video ad starts playing

Expected behavior
The ad should not be appearing at all.

Desktop (please complete the following information):

• OS: iOS 17.2.1
• wBlock Version 1.2.1

I don't see ads on any of my devices. Can you go to wBlock and click the "apply changes" icon (circular thing at the top of the screen)? That will install filter list updates.

Note that if wBlock is force quit, then filter list updates never install.

I have tried that already. I also tried enabling the Adguard Mobile Ads Filter and applied that filter through the circular button aswell. But even after the filters finish applying, the ads still pop up. Perhaps it's because i'm on an older iOS and therefore a different version of Safari?

No, that's not it. Can you go to settings > view logs and look for errors? If there are any, go to settings > restart onboarding and select the "recommended" filters.

If none of that works, go to the iOS settings app and make sure every extension is enabled, especially wBlock Scripts (which also needs to be set to "allow on all websites", not "ask")

So i tried the restart onboarding with the recommended filters a couple of times, since an older issue post mentioned that. I also enabled every wblock extension and allowed the scripts on every site. The logs show nothing under the error category and also nothing under the warning category if that matters.

I've also noticed, that if i reinstall wblock, it works the first time i go onto youtube. But after i close safari and reopen it, the ads show up again.

This seems to be an isolated incident. If someone else has this issue, I'll keep the thread open for now, but neither I nor my alpha testers can reproduce this.

So a quick update. I just installed wBlock on a seperate device with iOS 17.2.1 and experienced the same issue. After trying it on a device with iOS 18.7.2, it blocked the first ad like it should. So I do think that it's an issue with the Safari version. Maybe it's even just this specific iOS 17.2.1 version?

I also used the exact same filter lists with all 3 devices, which is the recommended filters list.
